Tape Gradings Explained here

review by Mick C

Notes:
Very poor quality until 'Round'. Much improved quality from 'Round' until the end. There is a cut after 'Banging the Door' where the tape was turned.

Review:
Definitely the worst quality live recording I have ever heard. Lydon has trouble with spitting from the moment he walks on stage and throughout the gig. The show gets stopped during Bags because of the spitting.

The quality makes a dramatic improvement at the beginning of Round, as though the bootlegger took his tape-recorder out of his pocket. He must also have used a 60 minute tape to record this show, as no encores seem to have been recorded.

The performance (or at least what can be heard of it) seems to be quite standard. A very tense, bad tempered gig.

One for the collectors? Well, I wish I hadn't bothered.
